The Weather is No Joke.

On Sunday, we experienced terrible storms in my neck of the woods.  So much so that a big chunk of the roof of the local university's library was torn right off!  Needless to say, there were downed trees all over the county and we lost power almost immediately.

Flash forward about 24 hours and we finally got our power back on.  Luckily, that was the worst of it for us (we did have a tree in our backyard snap clear in half which should indicate just how strong the wind was for a brief bit of time)!  I share all of this to say that I haven't been able to do much with baseball cards in the past couple of days (yesterday, I was booked up with meetings at work until about 7:00 PM)!  Thus, today's post is short and sweet:

That's a single card eBay purchase of (yet another) parallel from this year's 1990 Topps 35th Anniversary Chrome Mojo set.  This particular card is the Blue version and happens to be numbered out of 150 copies.  I am such a sucker for this year's 1990 Topps set and I've been having fun trying to track down the various Barry Larkin parallels for cheap!

I hope everyone else who went through the recent batch of storms also came out on the other side okay.  The weather is no joke at times!

  1. Storms went through here, too, but located even more north they weren't as chaotic. But it did delay me going into work. Even inside the house you could tell how forceful it was.

  2. Yikes, sounds like a crazy 24 hours. Hope everybody was alright.

That's a really nice card. I havebeen liking this year's throwback design as well -- much more so than I thought I would!
