I missed posting for most of last week, including Monday, when I usually show off my TCDB haul from the previous week. Thus, this week's haul will highlight trades that have rolled in over the past fortnight or so.
Let's get the party rolling with a single card PWE from user supergajit:
I'm slowly creeping closer to completing the Topps Series 1 1990 Silver Pack Chrome set. It's no real surprise that Skenes was one of the final cards that I needed to track down, despite the fact that this is his "second year" card rather than a proper rookie card. I do love the color scheme of the card overall. Good stuff from Topps!
Next up, from user Wisconsin Digger comes some much-appreciated help with my 2024 Topps Allen & Ginter set builds:
Two Chrome Refractors and two Chrome minis, both sets that I'm nearly done with now! It was probably a wildly stupid idea of mine to attempt to build both of the Chrome sets, but hey, I'm nothing if not stubborn so here we are still working away on them!
Next, from user theknapsackkid comes another 2025 Topps Series 1 1990 Silver Pack Chrome card:
Unfortunately, I am down to the point where I'm lucky if I can find someone who even has one needed card for me in a trade. The days of me finding trades consisting of three or four needed Silver Pack cards seem to be in the past.
Finally, we end with the lone trade that arrived during the past seven days:
User KuyaKards sent me a pair of Barry Larkin cards that had somehow eluded me all of this time! The Allen & Ginter X card is from 2019, while the Stadium Club Sepia parallel is from 2023.
That does it for the past couple of weeks' worth of trades. I don't expect to have much else to show off for another few weeks, but once my semester ends, I hope to get back to trading in full force! Have a great week, everyone.

Love seeing dogs make cameos on cards. I wonder what the story is behind that card, because it looks like the photographer happened to catch him taking his dogs for a stroll in his neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteIt might be from the same photo shoot as this card: https://fanofreds.blogspot.com/2016/01/barry-larkin-collection-421-1993-milk.html
