We are halfway through May already, but I'm here today to talk about my board game plays on Board Game Arena last month! The month of April was a solid gaming month online. I played a total of 68 games, spread across 14 different titles. Overall, I won 33 of the 68 games (48.5%) which is quite good since many of my games were with more than one other opponent.

The usual suspects are up near the top of the list (Lost Ruins of Arnak and 7 Wonders Duel). Castle Combo also landed near the top of the "most played" list this month, mostly because I joined a round robin tournament for that game!
I only tried one new-to-me game in April, which was Pirates of Maracaibo.
Pirates of Maracaibo seems like it might be a fun game to really dive into. I somehow finished second (out of three players) in my lone play of Pirates of Maracaibo, but I must admit that I didn't often know exactly what I was doing! I tend to play most of my BGA games on my phone, but I quickly learned that this particular game isn't well-suited for the small screen of a mobile device. If you want to get into this one, I'd definitely say a desktop/laptop is the way to go!
That does it for April! While May may only be about halfway over, I can already report that I've played a fair number of games this month on BGA as well (of course, you'll have to wait until next month for May's recap)!
