It's another Monday, but unfortunately, it's another Monday without any TCDB mail for me to show off. However, it's not all bad news because I do have one newly acquired item that I can show off from a recent eBay purchase:
That's a 2012 Topps Allen & Ginter mini insert from the Fashionable Ladies set. This 10-card set has caused me a lot of grief - with the Flapper lady now in hand, I'm finally down to needing only one more card to complete the set (#10: the Icon). I suppose it shouldn't be a total surprise that it has taken me this long to build most of the set, after all, the Fashionable Ladies cards were seeded as stealth case hits, which makes the cards quite rare (and even more difficult to track down over a decade later)!
Despite no TCDB trades to show off from last week, I'm certainly happy to have made some progress on an older set that I'm still working on (even if it did require me to spend money on eBay)! Who knows, maybe 2025 will be the year that I finally finish my Fashionable Ladies set build!
Stealth case hit sounds super rare. Best of luck landing the final card for this set build.
