Landing Another Rare Leaf Exhibits Card!

Back in October, I acquired my first Barry Larkin card from the 2004 Leaf Exhibits set.  For those that might have missed that post, here's a quick recap from that post discussing the '04 set:

That's a 2004 Leaf card, part of the Exhibits insert set.  The Leaf Exhibits set is a hulking, rather confusing, beast of a set.  In fact, here's the write-up about the set from over on Baseballcardpedia:

One of the more confusing and convoluted inserts ever made, 2004 Leaf Exhibits is a 50-card set with 46 different variations of each card. Each variation has the same player photo, but each has some minor differences. Done in the style of the cards produced by The Exhibit Supply Company from 1921-1966, each different variation is serial-numbered from as few as 21 to as many as 66 copies.

Now, I am the proud owner of two different Barry Larkin cards from that set:

The latest addition to my collection is the 1939-46 Best of Luck Left card, which is serially numbered out of only 46 copies.

I certainly don't expect that I'll ever own all of Barry's cards from the 2004 Leaf Exhibits set.  There are way too many parallels to chase, but it is fun to hunt for them every now and then and pick up one if I am able to do so!

As an aside:  I am currently taking nominations for my 5th Annual End-Of-Year Awards, so please make your voice heard!  All of the details (and how to vote) can be found here.
