Today, I've got my eighth (and final) box of 2025 Topps Allen & Ginter to show off. Overall, this year's set was very good to me. Let's see if we can finish on a high note!
Box 8:
Minis:
Another nice batch of mini inserts. I am amused by pulling both the Tiger Fish and the Tiger Shark from the same box. I do plan to try to collect all of the mini inserts from this year's set, so please let me know if you have any available for trade!
Full Size
I pulled two Filagree cards in the box. The Yamamoto is the more common silver filagree variety, while the Chipper Jones is a much rarer Black Foil Filagree numbered out of only 10 copies!
The hits
Both of my hits were of the framed variety which is great! I don't know anything about Ryan Bliss, but I won't turn my nose up at an on card, framed autograph. I'm not going to try to build this year's relic set (after all, I'm still working on the 2010 A&G framed relic set), so the Swansby, while nice, doesn't really fit into my collection long term.
And that does it for my initial purchase of A&G. Did I end up buying a bit more after ripping these boxes? Yes, yes, I did. But that's for another day.
Comments

I've enjoyed reading these box recaps. Not sure if I'll open up any 2025 A&G (unless I find a discounted box at the flea market or it's super cheap on a future Black Friday sale), so these posts are the next best thing.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your box breaks! You got several really nice cards. I would think you should be able to sell some a maybe buy another box or two?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading the posts and seeing the cards. I’m trying to decide if I want to put together the State Birds mini set.
Good luck on your mini set projects.
Nice cards. A few more tigers and you could start a zoo.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed seeing what came out of these boxes. I probably will not buy any packs but I'm willing to bet I'll receive a blaster for Christmas, which I'm sure I'll show off on the blog, fashionably late.
