2025 Topps Holiday Advent Calendar: Day 03 and VOTE FOR THE WINNERS of the 5th Annual End-of-Year Awards! Final voting starts now!
Before I get to today's Advent Calendar goodness, I want to draw your attention to my 5th Annual End-of-Year Blog Awards. Nominations have been secured; now it is time for your FINAL VOTES! At this point, you are voting for winners for each of the categories. Please vote now, and tell your friends!
Now that you've (hopefully) voted, let us return to the Advent Calendar and see what is behind door #3!
On the third day, we found exactly what we found each of the first two days: another pack of Holiday cards! Nothing wrong with that, I love being in the holiday spirit. Let's see what goodies our third pack holds for us.
H15. Matt Olson
A fine player, but I don't have much to say about Mr. Olson.
H179. Zack Wheeler
Zack looks like he is pitching in a blizzard, and yet he's in short sleeves. Maybe Topps should have photoshopped some hoodies on some of the players to keep them warm.
H187. Thomas Saggese
Plaid parallel
Okay, these seem to be one-per-pack (or else I've been super lucky hitting three plaid parallels in three packs). I'm still tempted to try and collect the set, but unfortunately I made the mistake of looking at the checklist. It seems that of the 200 base cards, Topps thought it was necessary to make Shohei Ohtani both card #1 and card #200 in the set. I imagine his plaid parallels will be too difficult to trade for on my own, so unless my Advent Calendar produced a couple of Ohtanis, I might be giving up on the plaid set before I even really began!
MNL-20. Aaron Judge
Making the Nice List
I wish I could hit a baseball 477 feet. I might need a swing, then walk to where the ball landed, then swing again to maybe get close to 477 feet.
H23. Roki Sasaki
Hey look, a Dodgers' rookie.
That does it for day #3! Remember, please vote for the blogging awards if you haven't already!
