It's (barely) still December 6th here where I am, so let's do a quick check-in on my 2025 Topps Advent Calendar while I watch the end of the Ohio State vs. Indiana Big Ten Championship football game.
Today's prize was the one promised: "exclusive Evergreen pack."
As you can see from the pack wrapper, each Evergreen pack contains 3 cards (unless you get a pack with a special insert). My pack had no special inserts, so it was three base Evergreen cards for me!
E-3. Luisangel Acuna
E-10. Shoehei Ohtani
E-13. Ivan Rodriguez
No complaints from me in pulling that Ohtani!
Here's the full checklist for this year's Advent Calendar exclusive Evergreen set:
E-1 Roki Sasaki, Los Angeles Dodgers
E-2 Hyeseong Kim, Los Angeles Dodgers
E-3 Luisangel Acuña, New York Mets
E-4 Kumar Rocker, Texas Rangers
E-5 James Wood, Washington Nationals
E-6 Coby Mayo, Baltimore Orioles
E-7 Jacob Wilson, Athletics
E-8 Dylan Crews, Washington Nationals
E-9 Matt Shaw, Chicago Cubs
E-10 Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Dodgers
E-11 Aaron Judge, New York Yankees
E-12 Bobby Witt Jr., Kansas City Royals
E-13 Ivan Rodriguez, Texas Rangers
E-14 Justin Verlander, San Francisco Giants
E-15 Wade Boggs, Boston Red Sox
E-16 Ernie Banks, Chicago Cubs
E-17 Randy Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks
E-18 Harmon Killebrew, Minnesota Twins
E-19 Joe Morgan, Cincinnati Reds
E-20 José Ramírez, Cleveland Guardians
E-21 Freddie Freeman, Los Angeles Dodgers
E-22 Juan Soto, New York Mets
E-23 Mike Trout, Los Angeles Angels
E-24 Hank Aaron, Milwaukee Braves
E-25 Mike Piazza, Los Angeles Dodgers
If I couldn't get the lone Red in the set, I'll happily settle for the Shohei! I do wish that the Advent Calendars held a couple of the Evergreen packs. I like the look of the die-cut cards quite a bit!
