TCDB Monday: King B Discs Edition

Happy December, everyone!  Somehow, the year 2025 is almost over.  This week marks my final regular week of teaching for the fall semester, so I'm already in a holiday mood (as are the students)!  That said, it's not quite holiday break, and even if it were, I try not to take a break from baseball card trading, so let's get to it.

Last week was a slow week of trading (Thanksgiving seems to keep people away from baseball cards).  However, the week wasn't a total wash as I was able to swing a deal with TCDB user Michael Meyer for a single needed Barry Larkin "card" from 1997:

That's a King-B Discs "card" from 1997.  King B is apparently a beef jerky brand, and you could only get these discs in specially marked packages.  I do enjoy getting oddball Barry Larkin cards like this, especially when they are small enough to fit in a standard 9-pocket page!

That's it for last week over on TCDB.  Even though it was a light week, anytime I can land a new Barry Larkin card (especially from back during his playing days), I'm going to be happy!  And speaking of happy, I'm happy that it's the final week of the semester, so here's to a great Monday, everyone!
