TCDB Monday: Minis Galore!

Another Monday, but at least we are in the final week of February.  The end of February is always a welcome sight for me.  It means baseball is around the corner, and with that, hopefully some sun and warmer weather.

I'm still working to get caught up on trade packages, so let's cut this post preamble short and get right to the good stuff.  We'll begin with a trade with user horfin:

In what should surprise no one, I'm still working diligently on collecting the various 2025 Topps Allen & Ginter mini sets.  Unfortunately, the trade well has dried up considerably (out of sight, out of mind, I guess, for baseball card sets from last year now).  However, every now and then, I can find a card I need and swing a deal for it.  I suppose trading for a single card at a time is a bad use of postage stamps, but on the bright side, I'm helping to keep the USPS afloat.

Next up, we stick with A&G minis, this time from user VolleySmib:

This trade was certainly a better use of postage!  I'm happy to have landed four needed minis, including two from the Light the Night set (which I think is my favorite of last year's A&G mini sets)!

We stick with small-statured cards with my next trade, this one courtesy of user Hershey:

That's one of the last few cards that I need for my 2024 Topps Allen & Ginter mini Chrome set build.  As it stands, I'm now only missing four cards from that set:  #45, 62, 66, 170.  I do hope to finish this off soon, so any help is appreciated!

Next up, from user schwefumbler comes two more minis (plus a full-sized Barry Larkin card):

The Foil Filagree cards aren't cards that I have any desire to collect, but when Barry Larkin is part of the set, then I do feel compelled to try and pick up his card.  I'm alsohappy to inch a couple of cards closer to completing the various 2025 A&G mini sets!  As I've said many times now, I love that Light House set!

Next, more minis!  This time from user mookdaruch:

That's a pair of the 2025 A&G N222 minis.  Obviously, it's nice to get the Lowder Reds card in the deal (as both a Reds fan and a set collector who needed that card still).

Finally, we end with a tiny trade with user baseballbear:

One last mini card to round out the week's worth of mail!  The Ponce de Leon Inlet lighthouse looks like it is built in the middle of a housing development, but I'm guessing there's a body of water nearby.  The card back says it is the oldest lighthouse in Florida.

That's it for the past week on TCDB.  Trading has certainly slowed down for me lately, but it's only two more weeks until my Spring Break from work, so maybe I'll be able to get the trading wheels moving again soon!  Have a great week, everyone.
