I recently received a package from Brad of the Couch Potato Chronicles blog. Brad graciously sent me a pile of 2009 Topps (and recently agreed to send me even more 2009 Topps which I'll be sending him a pile of '08 Allen & Ginter cards for).
Brad knocked a big chunk of cards off my want list, approximately 36 of them total!
Here are my favorites from the group of 2009 Topps (white borders):
153: Lastings Milledge

This is a great showing the intense concentration required to go airborne and catch a baseball. I even love the look of the multi-colored grass in the photo...makes me miss summer!
198: Conor Jackson

While Milledge was showing off his horizontal leaping skills, Jackson decided to go vertical. This picture is even better because of the mysterious base runner sliding into first head down.
253: Edgar Renteria

Renteria tried to one up Milledge and Jackson both by going horizontal AND vertical with this fielding play. The best part is, it certainly appears that he caught the ball!
277: Asdrubal Cabrera

A nice action photo of Teixiera trying to break up a double play while Cabrera threatens to side arm the throw and knock Tex's head off his shoulders!
324: Mark Reynolds

A nice action shot here from a unique angle. This photo was one of my favorites from the group though because of the "secret agent man" in the oversized sunglasses on the far left side of the card.
Thanks again Brad. And if anyone else wants to set up a trade - check out my want list and make an offer!

Email me, jp_23@yahoo.com. I can more or less complete your 2009 Topps base set, and all but say 2 of the blacks, so maybe we can work out a trade.
