1996 Upper Deck Collector's Choice: Pack #21: In Which I Want to Know When Do You Read the Blogs?

Before I get to the second pack today (!) out of my 1996 Upper Deck Collector's Choice box, I have a question for all of you:

When do you usually read blogs?

Do you typically read them in the morning?  Afternoon?  Evening?  Late at night?

I've become extremely curious about when the most people are online reading - especially since I've been thinking about doing a group break for 2017 Topps and I'd obviously like as many people to see the sign-up posts as possible.  However, even without considering a possible group break, I'm still extremely curious as to when people are interacting with the blogs.

For me, I do most of my reading at night, though sometimes I get some web surfing in at work in between classes (if I don't have students visiting me during office hours for example).  How about for you?

And with that mystery (hopefully) solved soon, let's get to tonight's pack.

Pack 21:
20.  Ruben Rivera
68.  Troy O'Leary
89.  Wilson Alvarez
105.  Frank Thomas

Probably the only card in that pack that interested me much.  Poor output like that is unusual for this set, so we'll chalk this one up to nothing more than bad luck.
192.  Steve Sparks
262.  Jon Lieber
Our second duplicate base card of the box...and both appeared in back-to-back packs.  Let's hope that isn't the start of a more serious (and unfortunate) trend.
267.  Steve Parris
You Make the Play:  35.  Tim Salmon (Strikeout)
Salmon makes the first out in the top of the fourth.  We have no one on base and are currently holding a 5-3 lead.
Silver Signatures:
336.  Roberto Kelly

Any Dodgers collectors out there need this one?
361.  Robin Ventura

That does it for this pack, not much to see really other than the card of the Big Hurt.

  1. Morning and evening, and maybe a quick scan during the day. Good question though!

  2. Morning for me, with maybe a mid-afternoon break. And yet, here I am posting a comment at night. It's Saturday, though. I'm not on schedule.

  3. I have a blogroll of over 150 blogs and I share most of them on twitter (@beansbcardblog). I try to do it as often as I can, but depending on how busy life is, sometimes it's during the late evening. Obviously I read them as I share.

  4. Most of my blog reading is done near the midnight hour on days I work. On off days, I usually check in a few times throughout the afternoon and evening.

  5. Morning usually. I get to work very early and have time to relax and catch up on blogs while I'm having coffee. On the weekends I do less blog reading and it's usually late at night.

  7. I usually read them first thing after I check my Simpsons Tapped Out in the morning. I will then check a few more times a day. However, for me morning is not always actual morning, I don't keep a regular schedule.

  8. It's all over the place. I always read them late morning and through the afternoon. And I read them at 2 a.m. after work. If I'm off, or there's a free moment at work, I read them in the evening, too. ... I need that Roberto Kelly!
