#18:  New York Mets (Previous Rankings - 2019, 2020: #5, 4)

A Bowman design that I actually like!

The New York Mets take one of the biggest tumbles of all the MLB teams in my rankings.  In the previous two rankings, the Mets were a Top-5 team for me led by their mostly likeable pitching staff (and woeful execution of winning).  This time around, the Mets have a new owner who is outspending five or six entire teams this year and it kind of sucks all of the fun out of the Mets!  For the longest time, I viewed the Mets as the Yankees little brother - the one with the worse job and a lot less cash...but now that there are simply two New York teams that have more money than they know what to do with, I can't be bothered to root for either of them.

All that said, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I am jealous of Mets fans who at least got an owner who seems to truly want to win.  The Reds owner only wants to make money for himself and he actively works against giving the Reds any chance to win.

The next team on my list has been a perennial basement dweller for a number of years now.  Bad decisions, bad players, and bad luck have decimated this once proud franchise.  One of my favorite non-Reds players once played for this team - a player that I have a small PC of I might add!
