TCDB Monday!

Once again, it's Monday, which means it is time for another weekly recap of my TCDB trades!  I have a few packages to show off today, so let's jump right in, beginning with a trade with user yadifan:

My quest to complete the 1990 Silver Pack Chrome cards from 2025 Topps Series 1 is nearly done!  With the Bobby Witt, Jr. card now in hand, I'm missing only six more cards (with one of those six on its way to me as we speak).  The 1990 Topps design looks great with the Chrome mojo treatment and I cannot wait to get the full set tucked into my binder pages!

Next up, from user BamaBomb23 comes a pair of cards from the 1997 Metal Universe set.  

The Metal Universe set is one of those "love it or hate it" type sets.  Obviously, I'm on the "love it" side of the fence since this is a set that I'm actively trying to complete!  This particular trade was a good one because it helped me track down a couple of the last remaining stars that I still needed from the set.

Next, from user eric51 comes two more cards from two more sets that I'm still plugging away at:

That's a Chrome Refractor and a mini Chrome, each from 2024 Allen & Ginter.  I'm slowly creeping closer to completing both of the shiny sets, though I have to admit that trading has drastically slowed down for both sets (I guess people are "over" 2024 Ginter now)!  I'm certainly happy to have been able to land two needed cards from the same person; that's a much more efficient use of stamps for me!

Finally, last but certainly not least, comes a trade with user N00bL1f3:

This is the type of trade that I love - look how many different sets I was able to make progress on with a single envelope!  Even better, that United Kingdom flag card was the final card that I needed for my Flags of the World set build!  With that card now in my binder, I can officially report that I've completed nine different sets off of my want list thus far in 2025.  Awesome!

That's it for last week on TCDB.  As you can see, it was a nice comeback after several lackluster weeks of trading.  That's probably not a coincidence, seeing as how I'm now off work for the summer and have more time to work on sending out trade proposals!
