We've made it to the final day of our 2025 Topps Baseball Advent Calendar. Our last door promises to be our "original pack" according to the box. I have no idea what to expect, but knowing Topps, I shouldn't expect too much!
Day 24:
Okay, my initial advice about not expecting too much? Well, even that might have been too much. A pack of Topps Big League is about as unexciting of a pack to open as I can think of (and it's 2021 Big League at that). Oh well, let's see if my lower expectations can at least be met by what's inside our pack.
Uhm. Ouch. Let's do a close-up of the three "special" cards...
Yeah, two Trevor Bauer parallels (this being the guy kicked out of baseball for his *alleged?* sexual transgression, ick, plus Castellanos, who left the Reds and is probably best known for being up to bat while a Reds' announcer attempted to apologize for some homophobic stuff that led to his firing. Not exactly the stuff of holiday dreams, huh?!
Okay, so we ended the Advent Calendar on a down note, but overall, it was a fun rip. I didn't even know these things existed until my brother got me this for my birthday. I did see my local Walmart had them for about $50 earlier this month, and if that's the true going price, then it's tough to say that these are a good deal. However, they are fun - and getting something new to open every day certainly scratches some sort of itch in most of us collectors! My best guess is that the Big League cards will find their way into future free card giveaways over on my Discord channel, so maybe everyone is ultimately a winner from this box!
Have a great holiday season, everyone. I do expect my posting to slow down over the next few days (and when I say slow down, I mean, most likely don't expect to see any posts until next week)! Cheers!

Thank you for sharing your finds. It's been fun to see what you got. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!
