Barry Larkin Collection 26: 1993 Fleer Ultra #30

Barry Larkin
Year:
1993
Brand: Fleer Ultra
Card number: 30

Cardboard perfection? Let's see, you've got a picture of a shortstop fielding on the front, a close up of his face on the back, AND a picture of him hitting...sounds pretty good to me. All those pictures come at the expense of full statistics, but you can always refer back to cards such as this one or this one for full stats right?

I remember that set. I was collecting my favorite players(Andre Dawson and Ryne Sandberg) at the time, and recall the pictures for this set, too.

And I agree that some cards are better off not having the full career stats on them.

Glad to have checked back in, and I'm going to have to find the time to dig out my cards soon!

Barry Larkin is one of the most under rated short stops of all time. He and Alan Trammell should have plaques in Cooperstown. I get that Ripken and Ozzie are beloved players, but there is a place for our guys too.
