A TCDB Surprise Card from mpdillard25!

Trade Stack 3: What's a Stack of Cards Without Some Faux Wood Grain?

Here is how this works:
Every so often (i.e. whenever I feel like it), I will add a card to a "Trade Stack".  Whenever the stack becomes appealing enough to someone, that person needs to comment on the post saying they'd like to claim the stack AND tell me which card they are sending off of my want list.  That's all you have to do - trade me ONE card (or more, of course) card from my want list for the entire stack of cards that I'm offering.  Each time, it will be first come, first serve...so act quickly (unless of course you are a gambler and hope to wait it out until there are 10+ cards in the stack that you want in exchange for a single 2004 UD Vintage card that I am looking for)!

The Trade Stack:
Last update:  1/8/11

When Topps rolled out its Million Card Giveaway, the cynics amongst us immediately cried out "but there will only be 1987 Topps given away."  As it turns out, there were older cards given away - which was great (unless some jack wagon hacked your account in which case Topps doesn't care to even bother to respond...and they HAVE to know which person received the cards in "trade" - sorry, a bit of my own anger there).  Anyhow, in honor of a decent idea (which is sour in my mind obviously, but plenty of other people enjoy it), here's your very own 1987 Topps card for the trade stack.

This card also means that the current trade stack has now reached eight cards which ties it for the most cards in a stack before someone claims it!  There are seven teams represented in the eight cards (the Orioles have two players, including a Hall of Famer, while the Astros, Reds, Brewers, Dodgers, Mets, and Twins all have one representative each).  Will someone claim this stack while it is eight cards high or are people waiting for that ninth card?  Did I purposely "spit out" a 1987 Topps card in hopes of topping the last trade stack pile in terms of total number of cards?  Do you want to foil my plan by claiming the stack now in return for any one card off my want list?  Or is this simply reverse psychology?  Hmm.
