Group Break 7: 2002 Topps Gold - Pack 3

I hope everyone is having a good Fourth of July.  For those near a computer at this hour, here's another pack for your perusal.  This marks the fifth pack opened today - so if you missed any of the earlier action, make sure to scroll back through my archives!

2002 Topps Gold:
Pack 3:

61.  Pat Burrell - Phillies

88.  Alfonso Soriano - Yankees

170.  Bud Smith - Cardinals

176.  Jeff Kent - Giants

Wow, this was definitely a pack where the "rich teams" got richer.  As it stands right now, the Yankees are the overwhelming base card leader with 10!  The Cardinals, Phillies, Mets, Athletics, Astros, Indians, Cubs, Dodgers, and Diamondbacks are the only other teams with at least five base cards.  The rest of the teams are fairly even - except for poor Washington who has yet to find a card that belongs solely to them.  However, if Washington finds a card soon they will be tied with the Orioles, Royals, and Rays with exactly one card thus far!  Of course, the usual caveat applies - it's early!
