Topps Lineage Group Break: Box 2 - Packs 21, 22* and 23

There are only four Lineage packs remaining in the break...let's see what else we get!

Box 2 - Pack 21:

70.  Carlos Santana - Indians
83.  Adam Wainwright - Cardinals
93.  Roy Oswalt - Phillies
174.  Adam Jones - Orioles
183.  Brian McCann - Braves
192.  Willie McCovey - Giants
TS22.  Topps Stand-Ups:  Hank Aaron - Braves

This is a really, really nice card for the Braves!  A stand-up of Hammerin' Hank!
155.  Platinum Diamond:  Bob Gibson - Cardinals

That was a solid pack, all things considered.  I gotta be honest, I don't see why people are sort of down on the set?  It's seems quite nice to me!

Box 2 - Pack 22:

OK:  I've posted every pack thus far in the group break in the exact order that I've opened them.  Furthermore, for Lineage packs where I do two at a time, I open the first pack, write that part of the post, update my statistics that I keep (it's the math guy in me), and then I open up the second pack.  Well, I must say - I just pulled what might be the best pull I've ever had from a box of cards (at least in my eyes, yes - even better than the Cal Ripken Autograph or the Pujols dual relic that were pulled in previous group breaks that I've held.  In fact, this particular card is so great - I'm going to hold off showing Pack 22 until the end...so you get pack 23 instead for now!  Until then, here's a small (yet revealing) hint:  the card had stated odds of rarer than 1:1000 packs!

Box 2 - Pack 23:

  36.  Michael Young - Rangers
64.  Joe Morgan - Reds
76.  Roberto Alomar - Blue Jays
123. Andre Ethier - Dodgers
134.  John Danks - White Sox
146.  Freddie Freeman - Braves
TS3.  Topps Stand-Ups:  Albert Pujols - Cardinals

24.  Platinum Diamond:  Tsuyoshi Nishioka - Tiwins

"Atlanta" Braves, my ass. Henry is clearly in his 20s in that photo. The card would still go to the Braves, of course, but that's Milwaukee Hank for sure.
