Group Break: Four More Fleer Showcase Packs

Good morning!  I'm writing this post about an hour before the Super Bowl airs...it's nice to (finally) be a bit ahead on group break packs.  I'm currently listening to Cris Collinsworth talk "blah blah blah."  Let's rip a few more packs instead, that sounds more fun.

Pack 11:
10.  Todd Helton - Rockies
83.  Ben Grieve - Rays
85.  Magglio Ordonez - White Sox
117.  Russell Branyan - Indians
147.  Ron Calloway - Expos #0926/1000

The Expos get their second pack win thanks to the serially numbered rookie card of Calloway.  Rookie cards are sort of funny things years later, aren't they?  Even though Calloway didn't become a superstar, it's still a nice pick up for Montreal.

Pack 12:
18.  Richard Hidalgo - Astros
35.  Barry Bonds - Giants

58.  John Olerud - Mariners
99.  Corey Koskie - Twins
103.  Rich Aurilia - Giants

A good pack for the Giants, easy win thanks to Bonds and Aurilia.

Pack 13:
55.  Jeromy Burnitz - Mets
67.  Mark Grace - Diamondbacks
70.  Craig Biggio - Astros
114.  Barry Zito - Athletics
11 of 20 BB.  Baseball's Best:  Chipper Jones - Braves

The Braves haven't been the best performing team in the break - but hopefully this is a sign of positive things to come.   The card design is simple, but I really like it.  Good win Atlanta!

Pack 14:
42.  Jermaine Dye - Athletics
50.  Adrian Beltre - Dodgers
69.  Jorge Posada - Yankees
Baseball's Best Relic:  Randy Johnson - Diamondbacks

How about that?!  Who saw a relic for the Diamondbacks coming?  Let alone a future Hall of Famer pitcher?!  What a great pack win for Arizona (their third win of the break).
