Like many bloggers, I've been selling (and buying) on Listia. One of my latest wins was this nice Barry Larkin gold parallel from 1993.
I remember back in 1993 that the ToppsGold cards were awesome! At the time, collectors were just being used to "gimmicks" like foil and so the ToppsGold cards were indeed a chase card. Of course, it didn't take long for Topps to overdo the gold foil and only a few years later the ToppsGold cards would be no more. Even so, this is a nice addition to my Larkin collection.
As a quick reminder, make sure you check out the latest round of voting for my Barry Larkin Card Experiment - a task designed to determine the best Larkin card made (at least out of the first 100 on my blog).
