Barry Larkin
Year: 1995
Brand: Fleer Ultra
Card number: 145
In 1995, Fleer experimented with a bunch of crazy designs (although none of their other designs were as crazy as their flagship set). This particular card is appears to be a mash-up of three or four different designer's individual visions. The card simply does not work well together. The front is full color, the back sepia (except for a full color inset image). The foil is red, the font is red and white on the back. The card number is "hidden" with the rest of the legalese at the bottom of the card. It's basically a disaster...easily one of my least favorite Fleer Ultra designs of all time. That said, it's still a different Barry Larkin card for my collection and so I will love it for that (even if I won't love it for any other reasons).
