The Gold Medallion parallels were seeded one per pack back in 1998 Fleer Ultra. The parallel is (obviously) quite similar to Larkin's regular base card - except to Fleer's credit they made the parallel easy to differentiate (both by the card number, tacking on a "g", and with the small text on the back saying "Gold Medallion Edition"). In addition, the front of the card has a gold, speckled effect happening...so you really can't miss the parallel no matter you are sorting your cards (via card fronts or card backs). That's how all parallels should be!
