The pack wrapper of the 1995 Score Summit set states that there is a 4-tier chase program. What they really mean to say is that there is one parallel set (Nth degree, 1:4 packs as seen in this morning's pack post) plus three proper insert sets. The insert sets are New Age (1:18 packs), 21 Club (1:36 packs) and Big Bang (1:72 packs). With only 24 packs in a box, this is another insert-lite product where if we do manage to pull insert card it ought to feel rather special!
1995 Score Summit:
Pack 3:
78. Javier Lopez - Braves
132. Alex Ochoa - Orioles
73. Carl Everett - Mets
192. Mike Mussina - Oeioles
92. Frank Thomas - White Sox
187. Albert Belle - Indians
21 Club: TC5. Ruben Rivera - Yankees
What, you thought my insert preamble was nothing but a ramble? Of course not! Here's our first true insert of the box and it's quite nice (and very shiny)! At 1:36 packs, this is a nice pull for Tim B. who has the Yankees slot in the break! I must say that this card looks MUCH better in person as opposed to the scan.
Pack 4:
27. Mark McGwire - Athletics
113. Vaughn Eshelman - Red Sox
22. Bernie Williams - Yankees
100. Carlos Baerga - Indians
189. Greg Maddux - Braves
95. Jay Bell - Pirates
184. Kirby Puckett - Twins
Pack 5:
178. Mike Piazza - Dodgers
56. Gregg Jefferies - Phillies
183. Tony Gwynn - Padres
71. Chuck Knoblauch - Twins
98. Jimmy Key - Yankees
137. Rich Aude - Pirates
32. Kirby Puckett - Twins
Pack 6:
26. Mark Grace - Cubs
114. Carlos Perez - Expos
21. Don Mattingly - Yankees
44. Sammy Sosa - Cubs
117. Orlando Miller - Astros
28. Carlos Delgado - Blue Jays
112. Benji Gil - Rangers
That was a nice pack for the Cubs with both Mark Grace and Sammy Sosa making an appearance.
Pack 7:
196. Cal Ripken Jr. - Orioles
43. Gary Sheffield - Marlins
118. Scott Ruffcorn - White Sox
139. Joe Randa - Royals
96. Jeff Bagwell - Astros
193. Randy Johnson - Mariners
91. Travis Fryman - Tigers
How about one more pack for this post?
Pack 8:
197. Jeff Bagwell - Astros
42. Andres Galarraga - Rockies
119. Jose Oliva - Braves
150. Tim Unroe - Cardinals
Another one of those rookie cards were the team logo doesn't match the player's uniform.
34. Lenny Dykstra - Phillies
135. Edgardo Alfonzo - Mets
Nth Degree: 132. Alex Ochoa - Orioles
That does it for this post - another nice set of packs including our first real insert of the box. What do you all think of the Summit set? Personally, as I flip through each card I like it more and more.

I like the minimalist design... an the Cubs hot pack!
ReplyDeleteThe Anderson (from the last post) and the Ochoa cards are heavy on the foil, but I like what they did to the background.
