Today, I only have a single trade from TCDB but it's a good one thanks to user Imcgown. I sent off a bunch of Ginter minis and a short print in what was supposed to be a simple exchange for two more 2023 Allen & Ginter box toppers.
While I'd be content with those, Imcgown indicated in his messaging to me throughout the trade that he'd also look to see if he had anything else to send my way...and boy did he deliver:
That's an uncut sheet from the 1992 Topps Magazine. I do own the Larkin card from this sheet (in very rough condition) but now I have the pristine panel for my binder! TCDB lists the loose card and the in tact panel as separate entries so I'll do the same in my own Larkin collection. What a wonderful surprise to get a new, unexpected Barry Larkin card for my collection!
Finally, as if that wasn't enough Imcgown also threw in a Reds team set of these shiny Allen & Ginter cards from 2011.
Those are from the online-exclusive factory glossy set and each card is numbered out of 999 copies (mine are all #113/999). I can't say I remember hearing about the glossy factory set so it's nice to get all of the Reds at once!
Many, many thanks to Imcgown for the amazing trade!
