The 2020 Donruss Holo Pink parallel card seemed like a perfect to show off for Mother's Day. Barry is the son of Shirley Larkin, something I didn't know until I looked it up for this particular post. You'd think a player's parents would get more love and attention on baseball cards, but alas, that's not the case for the most part. No matter, Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there - even if your son/daughter isn't a hall of famer like Shirley's son is!
I'm kinda surprised that Topps hasn't created an insert set around players and their moms. If anything... they'd be perfect to show off in blog posts one day a year.
