Barry Larkin
All that said, I can't help but love this card. It's quirky, it's colorful, and yes, it's totally unique among my 1,000+ different Barry Larkin cards. That, in itself, is no small feat and worth celebrating.
Year: 1996
Brand: Circa
Insert set: Access
Card number: 17
The 1996 Circa set was a fairly wild and crazy set with plenty of strange font choices - and perhaps nothing spells that out quite like the Access insert set. As you can see from the above scan, cards in the Access set are actually more like 3-fold folders. One of the benefits of all that extra space is that there is plenty of room for multiple photos, team logos, and player information. The downside to all that extra room seems to be that Circa graphic designers attempted to fit as many fonts as possible all over the card.

Not familiar with this set. You did a great job of describing it. Quirky, colorful, and unique. I really like how much space there for a card manufacture to work with. Topps should create a folder-like insert. I'll have to flip through my Gwynn collection to see if I have his card from the set.
