Finishing Another Set: Wonders of the World from 2013!

Today, I'm pleased to announce that I've completed my twelfth set in 2025:  the 2013 Topps Allen & Ginter Wonders of the World Cabinet set.  For over a decade, I've been searching for the Great Pyramid of Giza card at a decent price.  Finally, I was able to acquire the needed card thanks to a recent eBay auction!

The Wonders of the World Cabinet set contains 21 different cards, one for each of the seven Ancient Wonders, the seven Modern Wonders, and the seven Natural Wonders.

From the list of Wonders in the set, I have been to several of them, including:
  • CN Tower
  • Empire State Building
  • Golden Gate Bridge
  • Grand Canyon
Unfortunately, you won't see the Great Pyramids on my list, at least not yet.  Egypt is definitely on my travel bucket list, so who knows, maybe someday I'll make it there!  For now, I'll simply be happy to have completed the Wonders of the World set.  Twelve sets done in 2025, I wonder how many more I'll get before the year is over?!

  1. Congratulations on completing the set. That's pretty cool that you've been to four of those places. I've been to the Grand Canyon and the Golden Gate Bridge. If I had to pick one place from that set that I'd love to visit one day, it'd be Mount Everest. No interest in climbing it, but I'd love to visit Nepal.

  2. Congratulations! Always a great feeling to complete a set.
I looked at the list of cards. The CN Tower is my only "checkmark".
The Grand Canyon and Panama Canal are both on my travel bucket list.
