I've never been a fan of the Bowman line of cards but even I can admit that this particular design has some interesting elements. The front features a clean design (though the photo makes Larkin looks more like a first base coach rather than the star player that he is)! The back of the card features a second (full color) photograph as well as the team-by-team statistics that Bowman used to do all the time (for reasons that are still a complete mystery to me). I don't necessarily like this design, but when you compare it to other Bowman designs you can see it's head and shoulders better than most of the other Bowman drivel over the years!
