In 1996, Topps held a contest that they named Extreme Players (you can see the Silver entry card here). This particular card is the prize if you cashed in one of the bronze entry cards. Basically, it's the same front photo as the regular base card but with a different back highlighting how Larkin won over the other shortstops in the contest. In addition to the Bronze winning card, I also own the Silver winning card (as shown here). I do not yet own the gold card though (as of the time of this post at least).
