Delivery Time! Cards from Scott at Smed's Baseball Card Blog

Group break participants know him as Smedcards, the guy who bought an extra couple of slots so that everyone could get 1999 Pacific baseball cards added to their piles...but I know him as Scott from Smed's Baseball Card Blog.  Well, not only did Scott go hog wild in my group break, he also sent me a little envelope full of cards from my various want lists!  Let's dig in:

2008 Upper Deck:
Star Quest Rare:

SQ-12.  Justin Morneau

Star Quest Super Rare:
SQ-26.  Jim Thome

SQ-60.  Vladimir Guerrero
I don't know why I decided it was a good idea to go after four parallels of the same card (common, uncommon, rare, and super rare).  However, now that I've been chasing the cards for over two years, there is no reason to quit - as such, I'm glad to add another three cards to the 'ol binder!

2008 Topps Stadium Club:
First Day Issue
:
96.  Babe Ruth

Do you remember when this set was all the rage?  Well, it seems to have fallen on tough times lately - I guess out of sight, out of mind.  I'm still missing a select few cards from the set though - so if you have any lying around I'll try to make it worth your time to dig through your piles - and I've got a ton of the set for trade still!

2009 Topps Heritage:
525.  Braden Looper

555.  David Freese
640.  Melky Cabrera
The 2009 Heritage set has been a source of immense frustration for me - in fact, it frustrated me to the point that I didn't buy a single pack of 2010 Heritage!  I'm missing a bunch of cards, including plenty of commons - and my pile of duplicates is much too large to justify buying even more of this cursed set.
Flashback:
FB-09.  Gary Sheffield

2009 Topps Updates & Highlights:
UH114.  Chris Coghlan
UH221.  Adrian Gonzalez

I'm finally nearing the completion of this set as well - it's been a long struggle but I have faith that people can help me finish it before the end of the year!

Thanks a lot Scott for the trade - and as always, if anyone else would like to trade, check out my want list and make an offer!
