Trade Stack 9: A Yankee that I'm Guessing No One Wants

Here is how this works:
Every so often (i.e. whenever I feel like it), I will add a card to a "Trade Stack".  Whenever the stack becomes appealing enough to someone, that person needs to comment on the post saying they'd like to claim the stack AND tell me which card they are sending off of my want list.  That's all you have to do - trade me ONE card (or more, of course) card from my want list for the entire stack of cards that I'm offering.  Each time, it will be first come, first serve...so act quickly (unless of course you are a gambler and hope to wait it out until there are 10+ cards in the stack that you want in exchange for a single 2004 UD Vintage card that I am looking for)!

The Trade Stack:
Last update:  2/24/11

I think I'm bitter today.  First, it's snowing like crazy.  The 2-4" of snow we were supposed to get (according to the forecast last night) has now changed to a Winter Storm Warning and 6-12" of snow. It's a good thing we had two days of 40+ degree temperatures where some of the snow melted...otherwise I wouldn't have any place to stick the white stuff when I shovel.

Second, I'm bitter because my Diamond Giveaway codes netted me some of the crappiest possible cards last night.  I decided that if that's how Topps is going to be, maybe I should do the same thing with my trade stack.  So guess what?  Today's addition is crap.  I fully expect that no one will claim this thing, but that's ok - it's really snowy out and I don't want to drive to the Post Office any way.  That's right, crap card = less work for me...hey, wait a minute -maybe that's Topps' plan too.  Giveaway crap cards that no one wants, that way there's no hires needed to actually do things like sort and pack the cards.  Topps' is a genius.

Now, onto the card itself.  When I first pulled the card for the stack, I figured it was complete crap.  However, a quick glance at Baseball Reference told me that Gary is actually Josh Roenicke's father (and Ron Roenicke's brother).  I'm pretty sure you could win some bar bets with that knowledge.  This card is also from the one year that Gary was a Yankee, so that makes it super duper valuable, right?

1987 Topps:
683.  Gary Roenicke

1998 Upper Deck Collector's Choice:
120.  Todd Helton - Rockies

2008 Upper Deck Sweet Spot:

2010 Topps Allen & Ginter:
192.  Tom Knapp

141.  Joe Blanton - Athletics

Want the card(s) in the stack?  Act fast - tell me which card you will send me off my want list in the comments below!  If no one claims this card within a reasonable amount of time (a few hours up to a few days, depending) - I'll add another card to the stack and the process will start again!
