The region champions have all been crowned! Now, we move on to the FINAL FOUR of our Ultimate Ginter Mini Set Bracket.

#1 seed 2008 Baseball Icons vs. #4 seed 2012 Man's Best Friend
The Sport Ball region champion Baseball Icons now takes on the Cats & Dogs Region champion Man's Best Friend. For the upper half of the bracket, this is considered a "chalk pick" in that the top two seeds in the upper half of the bracket each won their respective region.
In the Elite Eight match-up, the Baseball Icons set still looked unbeatable cruising to a 14-4 victory over the Baseball Superstitions set. On the other hand, the Man's Best Friend set did almost as well against the other dog themed set in the Elite Eight (winning by a 13-5 margin over the Collectible Canines).
This should truly be a great match-up and a tough vote for most people!

In the bottom half of the bracket, we have the following pairing to vote on:
#3 seed 2007 Flags of All Nations vs. #7 seed 2016 Ferocious Felines
The 2016 Ferocious Felines set is our only set in the Final Four that wasn't originally a top four seed. I look at that as a win in that our initial seeding posts worked very well (maybe too well, haha)!
The #3 seeded Flags of All Nations almost didn't make the Final Four though...it went down to the wire with the Flags outlasting the Outlaws, Bandits, and All-Around Ne'er Do Wells by a 9-8 margin. The #7 seeded Ferocious Felines also nearly missed out on the Final Four after barely making it by the First Ladies set (also by a 9-8 margin). You can get a much closer vote than what we saw in the Elite Eight from the bottom half of the bracket...and I suspect that might mean that this particular pairing is going to go down to the wire as well!

In the Final Four we have sets of size 17, 20, 50, and 15 cards each. I don't think there is a ton that we can learn from that other than all the small sets (defined as 10 or fewer cards) have been eliminated. Which of the four sets will make it through to the Finals of our bracket? The only way to find out is to have YOU VOTE so make sure you do so!
To vote, please copy the text below and then delete the set you don't want to win. This will make it a lot easier for me to quickly tally the winners of each match-up. I also encourage you to stump for your favorite sets (remember, there is a bracket prediction contest going on here as well).
- 2008 Baseball Icons vs. 2012 Mans's Best Friend
- 2007 Flags of All Nations vs. 2016 Ferocious Felines
Copy and paste the above text into the comment section and then simply delete the set you don't want to win each of the match-ups. That should make voting quick and easy for both you and me! Remember that comments, votes, and general contest participation will potentially earn you chances to win additional prizes in the contest (along with the bracket challenge of course)! Vote now!

Love the idea of a dogs vs. cats final, but I like the Baseball Icons set too much.

First choice was extremely easy--I'll take baseball cards of baseball players over baseball cards of dogs all day long. Second was more difficult, because I'm still mad at the Flags set for dissing Singapore. But I do think it's a more interesting subject than animals. Hope we don't get an all-animal final.
