Alright, I stand corrected. I thought the shiny card to start the trade stack would be enough to cause someone to claim it (and to be fair, one person did try to claim it - but they offered a card I already had on its way to me). So, let's sweeten the stack a bit and add a second card!
Today's addition is an Allen & Ginter card from 2010. As I've mentioned a few times before, I keep a stack of cards in my desk that I plan to use solely for the Trade Stack. In this stack, I have a bunch of inserts, some "oddball" cards, a few non-baseball player cards, a bunch of parallels, and of course, some base cards. Each time I update my trade stack, I pull a card out of the pile - sometimes with a bit of thought, other times with a cavalier attitude of whatever I pull out is what goes on the pile. Today's addition is exactly that - a "whatever happens, happens" type card. Is there any connection between the Royals diamond sparkly card and Elvis Andrus' Ginter card? Not that I know of - other than the obvious "both play in the American League" answer. No matter, there doesn't always have to be a theme right? Sometimes random provides the most fun!

Matthew - the card you offered happened to arrive today in a different trade - sorry about that... The good news is I'll be adding another card to the trade stack (should be active at 8:30 AM EST tomorrow morning)!
